Dave Christie has been an independent Director on Cardinal’s board since 2019 and is also the Chair of the Compensation committee. Dave is a retired executive of the Royal Bank of Canada. His last position with RBC was Regional Vice President, Wealth Management, Private Banking for Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwest Ontario. Dave's career with RBC spanned 40 years, having held several Executive positions in the Wealth Management area.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba and has other industry related designations.

Dave is Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre. He is also involved in a number of not-for-profit organizations, with a particular interest in helping the homeless in Winnipeg.
